Welcome in my studio where I create simple, quiet, and handmade ceramics that carry warmth and intention. Every piece created is shaped slowly by hand, without molds, in small batches from my home studio in the Netherlands. I’m inspired by the things I saw growing up in the souks of Marrakech, the textures, the patience, and the beauty in everyday making.

Growing up in Marrakech

Hello, I'm Hind, the ceramist behind The Unique Touch. I grew up in Marrakech, surrounded by colour, texture, and handmade traditions. In the narrow streets of the souks, I watched artisans shape clay, carve wood, and create textiles, always with patience and care. I loved seeing how something simple could become something beautiful and full of meaning. That feeling stayed with me, even when life took me in another direction.

Following my passion of Ceramics

After my studies, I worked in an office job, steady, but not something that made me feel connected. Moving to the Netherlands gave me the space to reconnect with a slower, more creative way of working. It started small, just trying clay out, but it quickly became a quiet passion. I spent hours learning, making mistakes, and slowly finding my own way. That’s how The Unique Touch began, a small studio where I create simple, hand-built pieces in small batches. Each one is shaped with care and meant to be used, held, and enjoyed for a long time.

“I shape each object with time, touch, and a little bit of myself”

From my studio to your home

What gives my work meaning is seeing my pieces become part of someone’s daily life. When someone chooses something I made, it feels special. It’s a quiet connection and a shared love for simple things made with care.
