Now at Museum Amersfoort

Some collaborations feel obvious the moment they happen. This is one of them.

I'm excited to share that The Unique Touch has a partnership with Museum Amersfoort here in our own hometown Amersfoort. Our handmade jewelry is now available in their museum shop. If you've ever walked past that beautiful grey stone building in the city centre, you will know exactly the kind of place I mean. Being able to say our pieces now sit inside it still feels a little unreal.

There is something that feels right about this specific pairing. Museum Amersfoort tells the story of the city, the city that's been my home and my studio's home for years now. And in a small way, every piece of jewelry I make carries a bit of that same story too. Amersfoort is where the ideas that started in Marrakech's souks finally found their shape on a wheel. Having our work sit inside a museum that celebrates this city feels like coming full circle.

Right now you will find a curated selection of our earrings and necklaces in the museum shop, the same hand-shaped, hand-painted pieces you would find at our market stand or online, just with a new home to be discovered in.

And there is more coming. We are excited to share that the partnership is growing. Very soon, you will be able to find mugs specially designed for Museum Amersfoort, made exclusively for them and unlike anything else in our regular collection. It's the first time we have designed a piece specifically for a partner. It's a fun challenge to think about what a piece should look and feel like when it's meant to carry a museum's story rather than just our own.
