PURE - SIMPLE - UNIQUE
Every ceramic is made by hand, embracing natural variation and the beauty of imperfection
Handmade one by one
Unique because: it brings beauty into everyday spaces, reminding you that joy lives in details.
Unique because: shaped, glazed, and fired individually, making every item truly one of a kind.
Unique because: its organic form comes from slow, mindful throwing on the wheel,
Unique because: each glaze is applied by hand, no two items ever look the same.
From Marrakech to Amsterdam
Growing up in Marrakech
Hello, I'm Hind, the ceramist behind The Unique Touch. I grew up in Marrakech, surrounded by colour, texture, and handmade traditions. In the narrow streets of the souks, I watched artisans shape clay, carve wood, and create textiles, always with patience and care. I loved seeing how something simple could become something beautiful and full of meaning. That feeling stayed with me, even when life took me in another direction.
Following my passion of Ceramics
After my studies, I worked in an office job, steady, but not something that made me feel connected. Moving to the Netherlands gave me the space to reconnect with a slower, more creative way of working. It started small, just trying clay out, but it quickly became a quiet passion. I spent hours learning, making mistakes, and slowly finding my own way. That’s how The Unique Touch began, a small studio where I create simple, hand-built pieces in small batches. Each one is shaped with care and meant to be used, held, and enjoyed for a long time.
300+ pieces shaped by hand in 2025, now part of daily life in kitchens and studios across Europe and beyond, including the United States, Japan, Spain, and Australia.
“It became part of my morning ritual”
A few kind words from daily life…
“I use it every day and it still makes me smile”
“It’s like holding a piece of calm in your hands”
Where to find The Unique Touch
The online shop
My ceramics are available in small batches through our Etsy shop. Each piece is handmade, one by one, and ready to be used every day. Once a piece is gone, it’s not made in exactly the same way again.

On Instagram I share moments from the making process, straight from the studio. From shaping clay to opening the kiln, I show the quiet steps behind each piece.
